College does not allow vehicles to enter the campus premises freely. Only college fraternity members are permitted to enter with their vehicles. Restricted vehicles are parked in the designated parking area.

Shivalik College of Engineering is well connected through bus, auto, and e-rickshaw from various places. Inside the campus, a solar-powered cart circles the premises. The college provides pedestrian-friendly walkways and encourages walking and bicycling. These walkways are equipped with street lights.

On 05/06/2018, World Environment Day, a program was held in collaboration with ICC to promote the abandonment of plastic use. A pledge was taken by all college members, including NSS volunteers. In 2019, a rally and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan were also conducted to support this initiative.

Landscaping with Trees and Plants
During the rainy season and on various occasions, tree plantation is done inside and outside the campus. The college has its own nursery and promotes plantation through NGOs and other institutions. Around 1500 trees, shrubs, and flowering plants exist on campus.

The college has developed a Horticultural Museum with approximately 225 fruit-bearing plants spread across 2800 m2 of land.

Medicinal plants have been planted in a dedicated nursery area within the campus over the last five years.
The campus has a solar-powered cart that makes trips throughout the campus, promoting green energy usage and offering an eco-friendly transport alternative.
