Shivalik College of Engineering, Dehradun, and IIT Ropar inked an MoU for academic collaboration and research in AI, Data Science, and other emerging technologies on March 12, 2025.
With this association, SCE shall now offer minor programs in sync with the NEP 2020 and establish a Cyber Physical System Lab for increased research opportunities, especially in AI and Machine Learning.

This collaboration shall open new doors for SCE students, allowing them to experience the dynamic academic and research environment of IIT Ropar.
Shivalik students will have the privilege of advanced learning, state-of-the-art facilities, and expert guidance from IIT Ropar’s faculty.

Through joint research projects, workshops, and mentorship programs, students will gain hands-on experience and deeper insights into their fields.
Additionally, internship opportunities will help them work on real-world projects and gain practical exposure.
